Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer] 64 who pray, "Our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing: 65 "Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in"; 66 who when they spend are neither wasteful nor miserly, between that is a just stand, 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and worketh righteous work. Then these! for them Allah shall change their vices into virtues. Verily Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good deeds – so he has inclined towards Allah with repentance as was required. 71 And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by frivolity, they pass by with dignity; 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun" (pious - see V. 2:2 and the footnote of V. 3:164)." 74 Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect. 75 Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence. 76 Say: "My Lord is not concerned on your account if you do not pray to Him. You have surely done with denying; soon will come the inevitable judgement. 77
