(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 and make my task easy for me. 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 And remember Thee oft. 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 Recall, when your sister went along, saying: 'Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him?' Thus We brought you back to your mother so that her heart might be gladdened and she might not grieve. Moses, recall when you slew a person. We delivered you from distress and made you go through several trials. Then you stayed for several years among the people of Midian, and now you have come at the right moment as ordained. 40 I have chosen thee for My service; 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 (Moses) said: "Our Lord is He who gave everything its natural form and directed it." 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
