Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 "And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) [That occurred as a result of a brand of fire which Musa (Moses) put in his mouth when he was an infant]. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 16, Page 159]. 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 and appoint for me, out of my kinsfolk, one who will help me to bear my burden: 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Increase through him my strength 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 and remember you often. 34 "For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us." 35 Said He: "Thou art granted all that thou hast asked for, O Moses! 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 "Go forth, [then,] thou and thy brother, with My messages, and never tire of remembering Me: 42 Go, both of you, unto Pharaoh. Lo! he hath transgressed (the bounds). 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance. 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement awaits those who called the lie to the truth and turned away from it.' " 48 [But when God's message was conveyed unto Pharaoh,] he said: "Who, now, is this Sustainer of you two, O Moses?" 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 He it is Who spread the earth for you; and made in it paths for you, and sent down water from the sky, and then through it We brought forth many species of diverse plants. 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
