Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 And ease for me my affair. 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 Appoint for me a henchman from my folk, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 and remember you often. 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 Recall, when your sister went along, saying: 'Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him?' Thus We brought you back to your mother so that her heart might be gladdened and she might not grieve. Moses, recall when you slew a person. We delivered you from distress and made you go through several trials. Then you stayed for several years among the people of Midian, and now you have come at the right moment as ordained. 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 Both of you go to him (Pharaoh) and say: "We are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel depart with us, and do not punish them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; peace be on him who follows guidance! 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
