Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 and ease my task for me. 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 "That they understand my speech, 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 and associate him with me in my task. 32 That we may glorify Thee much 33 and remember You much: 34 You are Well Aware of our situation." 35 Said He: "Thou art granted all that thou hast asked for, O Moses! 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 Recall, when We indicated to your mother through inspiration: 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 “You and your brother, both go with My signs, and do not slacken in My remembrance.” 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 Then say to him a gentle saying; haply he may be admonished or he may fear. 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 for, behold, it has been revealed to us that [in the life to come] suffering shall befall all who give the lie to the truth and turn away [from it]!"' 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 Moses replied, "The knowledge about it is with my Lord in the Book. My Lord is free from error and forgetfulness. 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
