He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Aaron my brother 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 Already another time We favoured thee, 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 I have chosen thee for My service; 41 "Go forth, [then,] thou and thy brother, with My messages, and never tire of remembering Me: 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing. 46 So, go to him, and say: 'Behold, both of us are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not chastise them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; and peace shall be for him who follows the true guidance. 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He said, “Our Lord is One Who gave everything its proper shape, then showed the path.” 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a Record. My Lord neither erreth nor forgetteth, 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
