He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me, 25 and ease my task for me. 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 so that they may understand my speech; 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 and let him share my task, 32 "That we may glorify You much, 33 “And profusely remember You.” 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He said: You are indeed granted your petition, O Musa 36 Indeed, We showed Our favour to you before also, 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has become insolent. 43 Then speak to him a gentle word haply he may mind or fear. 44 They both said, "Our Lord, We fear that he may commit some excess against us, or exceed all bounds in transgression." 45 He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement awaits those who called the lie to the truth and turned away from it.' " 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 HE IT IS who has made the earth a cradle for you, and has traced out for you ways [of livelihood] thereon, and [who] sends down waters from the sky: and by this means We bring forth various kinds of plants. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
