Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
