Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame! 3 and also his wife who carries the fuel, 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
