۞ To Abraham We gave the right guidance and We knew him very well. 51 Abraham asked his father and his people, "What are these statues which you worship?" 52 They said, 'We found our fathers serving them.' 53 He said: "You and your fathers were in clear error." 54 They said, "Have you brought us the Truth, or are you one of those who jest?" 55 Abraham replied, "Your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, who created them, and I bear witness to that. 56 And [he added to himself.] "By God, I shall most certainly bring about the downfall of your idols as soon as you have turned your backs and gone away!" 57 Then he broke them all into pieces, sparing only the supreme one among them that they may possibly return to him. 58 They said: Who has done this to our gods? Most surely he is one of the unjust. 59 They said: We heard a youth make mention of them, who is called Abraham. 60 They said: "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may testify." 61 They said, "Art thou the one that did this with our gods, O Abraham?" 62 He answered, "Rather this biggest one of them did it. Ask them, if they can speak." 63 Then gathered they apart and said: Lo! ye yourselves are the wrong-doers. 64 But then they reversed their minds: 'You know they do not speak' 65 He said: 'Would you then worship that, instead of Allah, which can neither help nor harm you? 66 Fie on you and all that ye worship instead of Allah! Have ye then no sense? 67 They said, "Burn him and support your gods - if you are to act." 68 [But] We said: O fire! Be thou cool, and [a source of] inner peace for Abraham!" 69 They had sought to do evil to him, but We caused them to be the worst losers, 70 and We saved him and Lot and brought him to the land upon which We had bestowed Our blessings for all the people of the world. 71 And We gave him Ishaq and Yaqoub, a son's son, and We made (them) all good. 72 And We made them leaders, guiding (mankind) by Our Command, and We inspired in them the doing of good deeds, performing Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and the giving of Zakat and of Us (Alone) they were worshippers. 73 We bestowed upon Lot sound judgement and knowledge, and We delivered him from the city that was immersed in foul deeds. They were indeed a wicked people, exceedingly disobedient. 74 whereas him We admitted unto Our grace: for, behold, he was among the righteous. 75

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
