And recall what time We settled Ibrahim in the place of the House, Saying: associate not thou with Me aught, and purify My House for these who circumambulate and those who stand up and those who bow and make prostration. 26 Call mankind to the Pilgrimage. They will come to you, on foot, and on every kind of lean camel, by every distant track 27 That they may witness advantages for them and mention the name of Allah during stated days over what He has given them of the cattle quadrupeds, then eat of them and feed the distressed one, the needy. 28 Let the pilgrims then neatly dress themselves, fulfil their vows, and walk seven times around the Kabah. 29 Such (is the Pilgrimage): whoever honours the sacred rites of Allah, for him it is good in the Sight of his Lord. Lawful to you (for food in Pilgrimage) are cattle, except those mentioned to you (as exception): but shun the abomination of idols, and shun the word that is false,- 30 Inclining [only] to Allah, not associating [anything] with Him. And he who associates with Allah - it is as though he had fallen from the sky and was snatched by the birds or the wind carried him down into a remote place. 31 To respect the symbols of God is the sign of a pious heart. 32 You have advantages in them till a fixed time, then their place of sacrifice is the Ancient House. 33
