The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Certainly will the believers have succeeded: 1 those who are humble in their prayer; 2 And those who from everything vain turn away. 3 pay their religious tax 4 Who guard their sex 5 except with their wives and what their right hand possess, and then they are not blamed. 6 As for those who seek beyond that, they are transgressors" 7 Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants; 8 And who pay heed to their prayers. 9 These will be the heirs, 10 These are the heirs of Paradise wherein they will live forever. 11 Indeed We created man from a chosen soil. 12 Then We made him a small seed in a firm resting-place, 13 Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. 14 after this you shall surely die. 15 and be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. 16 We have created seven paths above you; We have never been unmindful of Our creation. 17 And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away. 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palm and vines; for you therein are fruits many, and thereof ye eat. 19 and a tree issuing from the Mount of Sinai that bears oil and seasoning for all to eat. 20 And verily in the cattle for you is a lesson. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are advantages many, and of them ye eat. 21 and upon them and on the ships you are carried. 22
