The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ TRULY, to a happy state shall attain the believers: 1 who in their prayers are humble 2 those who turn away from all that is frivolous; 3 And those who for the sake of purification are doers. 4 And they who guard their private parts 5 save from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess; for with regard to them they are free from blame " 6 But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; 7 Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants; 8 and who guard their Prayers. 9 these are the heirs 10 These are the heirs of Paradise wherein they will live forever. 11 And certainly We created man of an extract of clay, 12 then We set him, a drop, in a receptacle secure, 13 Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the best to create! 14 Thereafter you will certainly die 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 We have created seven paths above you; We have never been unmindful of Our creation. 17 And we send down from the sky water in measure, and We give it lodging in the earth, and lo! We are Able to withdraw it. 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you, and whereof you eat. 19 And also a tree that springeth forth from mount Sinai, that groweth oil and is a sauce for the eaters. 20 There is a lesson for you concerning cattle. We provide you with drink from their bellies and many other benefits. You can consume them as meat. 21 and by them - as by the ships [over the sea] - you are borne [overland]. 22
