Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
