“O Noble Messengers, eat good clean things, and do good deeds; I know all that you do.” 51 And surely this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me. 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 Leave them in their perplexity for a time. 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 We [but want to] make them vie with one another in doing [what they consider] good works? Nay, but they do not perceive [their error]! 56 Surely those who tremble in fear of their Lord 57 And those who in the signs of their Lord do believe. 58 and who do not ascribe divinity to aught but their Sustainer, 59 And those who give what they give (in alms) while their hearts are full of fear that to their Lord they must return, 60 These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 On the contrary, their hearts are in neglect of this and their works are different than those of the believers, the works that they are doing. 63 Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, at once they are crying [to Allah] for help. 64 [But they will be told] "Cry not in supplication today; for, behold, you shall not be succoured by Us! 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Have they, then, never tried to understand this word [of God]? Or has there [now] come to them something that never came to their forefathers of old? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their desires, the heavens and the earth and all that is in them would have been destroyed. We sent them the Quran but they ignored it. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 You are calling them to a Straight Way, 73 And lo! those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed astray from the path. 74 ۞ And even were We to show them mercy and remove whatever distress might befall them [in this life,] they would still persist in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro. 75 We already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their Lord nor were they humble; 76 Until We open on them a gate leading to a severe Punishment: then Lo! they will be plunged in despair therein! 77
