“O Noble Messengers, eat good clean things, and do good deeds; I know all that you do.” 51 And surely this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me. 52 The people divided themselves into many sects, each with their own book and each happy with whatever they had. 53 Wherefore leave thou them in their bewilderment for a season. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Lo! those who go in awe for fear of their Lord. 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 who associate none with their Lord in His Divinity, 59 And those who dispense their charity with their hearts full of fear, because they will return to their Lord;- 60 those vie in good works, outracing to them. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 Aye! their hearts are in bewilderment in respect thereof, and they have works beside that, of which they are workers. 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 “Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us.” 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 in arrogance, as if you were abandoning a story-teller. 67 Have they not pondered over the word of God? Has something come to them that did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 And should the truth follow their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have perished. Nay! We have brought to them their reminder, but from their reminder they turn aside. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 Assuredly thou art calling them to a straight path; 73 but those who do not believe in the Hereafter are ever prone to deviate from the Right Way. 74 ۞ Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy. 75 We struck them with torment, but they did not submit themselves to their Lord, nor did they make themselves humble 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of severe punishment, then lo! They will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair. 77

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
