And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
