It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will say: 'To Allah' Say: 'Then will you not remember' 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
