[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the truth (Islamic Monotheism), and verily, they (disbelievers) are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
