And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say: 'In whose Hands is the Kingdom of all things, He protects, and none protects against Him, if you have knowledge' 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
