It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He who revives and makes to die, and to Him belong the alternation of the night and the day. Will you not understand! 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
