Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 And indeed We are Able to show you (O Muhammad SAW) that with which We have threatened them. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
