Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
