SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
