Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
