Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 We certainly have the power to show you what they have been warned about. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
