Blest is He Who, if He willed, shall appoint for them something better than that: gardens whereunder the rivers flow, and appoint for them palaces. 10 They deny the Hour. For those who deny that Hour, We have prepared a blazing fire. 11 When it sees them from a far place, they shall hear its bubbling and sighing. 12 And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein bound in chains, they will cry out thereupon for destruction. 13 They will be told, "Do not pray to die only once but pray to die many times." 14 Ask them "Is this (Fire) better or the everlasting Garden which has been promised to the God-fearing righteous people?" which will be the recompense of their good deeds and the final destination of their journey 15 Theirs therein shall be all that they wish for, as abiders; a promise from thy Lord to be asked for. 16 And on the day when He shall gather them, and whatever they served besides Allah, He shall say: Was it you who led astray these My servants, or did they themselves go astray from the path? 17 They will answer: "Limitless art Thou in Thy glory! It was inconceivable for us to take for our masters anyone but Thyself! But [as for them] Thou didst allow them and their forefathers to enjoy [the pleasures of] life to such an extent that they forgot all remembrance [of Thee]: for they were people devoid of all good." 18 So they belie what you say, and you can neither turn it aside, nor find any help. Those of you who have done evil, We let them taste a great punishment. 19 We never sent before thee any messengers but lo! they verily ate food and walked in the markets. And We have appointed some of you a test for others: Will ye be steadfast? And thy Lord is ever Seer. 20
