If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear: 69 In order that it may warn him who is alive, and that the sentence may be justified on the infidels. 70 Are they, then, not aware that it is for them that We have created, among all the things which Our hands have wrought, the domestic animals of which they are [now] masters? 71 And have subjected the animals for them, so they ride some animals and eat some? 72 And they have (other) benefits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink, will they not then be grateful? 73 Yet they have taken, apart from God, gods; haply they might be helped. 74 It is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms. 75 However, be not grieved by the sayings of those [who deny the truth]: verily, We know all that they keep secret as well as all that they bring into the open. 76 Does man not see that We created him of a sperm drop, and lo! he is flagrantly contentious? 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 who has made fire for you from the green tree with which you kindle' 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of these? Yea! He is the Supreme Creator, the Knower. 81 His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is. 82 So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
