Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Blessed is He who has established constellations in the sky and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and the day, one proceeding the other, for whoever wants to take heed or give thanks. 62 And the bondmen of the Most Gracious who walk upon the earth humbly, and when the ignorant address them they answer, “Peace”. (Good –bye) 63 And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing, 64 And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering; 65 verily, how evil an abode and a station!"; 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. 68 [but] shall have his suffering doubled on Resurrection Day: for on that [Day] he shall abide in ignominy. 69 Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 And those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour. 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 and who pray "O our Sustainer! Grant that our spouses and our offspring be a joy to our eyes, and cause us to be foremost among those who are conscious of Thee!" 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 There they shall live for ever; a fine dwelling place, and residence. 76 (Muhammad), say (to the disbeliever) "It does not matter to my Lord whether you worship Him or not. You have rejected His guidance and your punishment is inevitable." 77
True are the words of God the Almighty.
