Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 And these who pass the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing up. 64 Who say: 'Our Lord, turn from us the punishment of Gehenna, for its punishment is the most terrible; 65 it is an evil settling, and an evil residence' 66 and who, whenever they spend on others, are neither wasteful nor niggardly but [remember that] there is always a just mean between those [two extremes]; 67 who do not call upon another god with Allah, nor slay the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right; who do not fornicate, for he who does this shall face punishment 68 [but] shall have his suffering doubled on Resurrection Day: for on that [Day] he shall abide in ignominy. 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 And those who bear not false witness and, when they pass by idle talk, pass by with dignity; 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And those who say: "O Lord, give us comfort in our spouses and children, and make us paragons of those who follow the straight path." 74 [Such as] these will be rewarded for all their patient endurance [in life] with a high station [in paradise,] and will be met therein with a greeting of welcome and peace, 75 and wherein they will live for ever: what an excellent abode and what an excellent resting place! 76 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “You have no value before My Lord if you do not worship Him; so you have denied – therefore the punishment that remains, will occur.” 77

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
