Blessed be He Who hath placed in the heaven mansions of the stars, and hath placed therein a great lamp and a moon giving light! 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 and who remember their Sustainer far into the night, prostrating themselves and standing; 64 who say, 'Our Lord, turn Thou from us the chastisement of Gehenna; surely its chastisement is torment most terrible; 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. 68 The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; 69 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. God will change the evil deeds of such people into good ones: He is most forgiving and most merciful. 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity. 72 Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind; 73 And those who say: "O Lord, give us comfort in our spouses and children, and make us paragons of those who follow the straight path." 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest heaven, for that they endured patiently, and they shall receive therein a greeting and --' Peace!' 75 Abiding therein; excellent it is as an abode, and as a place to dwell. 76 Say: 'My Lord cares little for you if it was not for your supplication, indeed you have belied (the Messenger and the Koran) so it (the punishment) will be fastened' 77
