The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
