The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
