The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
