The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
