HENCE, [remember how it was] when thy Sustainer summoned Moses: "Go unto those evil doing people. 10 the people of Pharaoh, will they not fear God? 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 And my breast straiteneth, and my tongue moveth not quickly: so send for Harun. 13 Moreover, they keep a grave charge [pending] against me, and I fear that they will slay me." 14 Allah said: "By no means! proceed then, both of you, with Our Signs; We are with you, and will listen (to your call). 15 And go, both of you, unto Pharaoh and say, 'Behold, we bear a message from the Sustainer of all the worlds: 16 so send forth with us the Children of Israel." 17 (The Pharaoh) said: "Did we not bring you up as a child? And you lived a number of years of your life with us. 18 And thou didst the deed thou didst, being one of the ungrateful!' 19 He said: I did it then while I was of those unable to see the right course; 20 Then I ran away from you in fear, but my Lord granted me the law and has appointed me as a Messenger. 21 “And is this some great reward for which you express favour upon me – that you have enslaved the Descendants of Israel?” 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 [Moses] answered: "[He is] the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them: if you would but [allow yourselves to] be convinced!" 24 [Pharaoh] said to those around him, "Do you not hear?" 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers. 26 Said he, 'Surely your Messenger who was sent to you is possessed!' 27 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!" 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 He said: Even though I show thee something plain? 30 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Bring it forth then, if you are of the truthful!" 31 So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent, 32 Then he drew out his hand, and it was luminous to the onlookers. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
