When your Lord called out to Moses, saying, "Go to the wrongdoing people, 10 “The nation of Firaun; will they not fear?” 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 "And my breast straitens, and my tongue expresses not well. So send for Harun (Aaron) (to come along with me). 13 And they have a charge (of murder) against me. So I fear that they will kill me." 14 Said He: "Not so, indeed! Go forth, then, both of you, with Our messages: verily, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]! 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 "So allow the Children of Israel to go with us.' " 17 Fir'awn said: brought we not thee up amongst us as a child? And thou tarriedst amongst us for many years of thy life? 18 Yet you committed the deed you did, surely you are one of the ingrates." 19 Said Moosa, “I did that at a time when I was unaware of the consequences.” (In anger – See verse 28:15) 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 And this is the favour with which you taunt me -- that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Fir'awn said: and what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 He said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between, if ye seek to be convinced. 24 The Pharaoh said to the people around him, "Did you hear that?" 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 (Pharaoh) said: 'Surely, the Messenger who has been sent to you is mad!' 27 (Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense!" 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 He said: even though I bring unto thee something manifest? 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent, 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
