۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
