Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 59 Could the reward of good be aught but good? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
