۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
