۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
