The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
