The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
