Hizb 38
< random >
The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
