And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
