The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
