The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
