In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 And those that strike violently, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
