Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
