Hizb 38

The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
